The Life Natural Healing Clinic designs and produces is own Wheat Packs for a range of different uses. The wheat packs contain Australian grown wheat grains, a bay leaf (to protect against weevils), and some contain lavender flowers. The fabrics vary and are usually canvas or corduroy, either plain colours or loud funky patterns.

Our designs include large square packs, that are great for in between shoulder blades and the lower back, long rectangular packs, which are perfect for around the neck, along the spine and under the belly during labour, and mini rectangular packs, which are perfect for tummy cramps and other smaller body parts. We also make satin covered mini packs which make fantastic eye and head pillows!

Wheat Packs can be used to heat or cool specific areas of the body. This is mainly due to wheats molecular make up that allows the grains to sustain vast temperature variations without being damaged, a very clever little grain indeed! As a result we are able to put our wheat packs in the microwave and they will get nice and warm for us, or we can put them in the freezer and use them as cooling packs. The uses for wheat packs are endless, so we have just included the most common uses.

Heating the Pack : Place the pack on the microwave plate next to a microwavable mug half filled with water. Heat on high for 2 - 3 minutes depending on individual mirowave strength. Always allow pack to completely cool before reheating.

Cooling the Pack : Place the pack in a secured plastic zip lock bag and place in the freezer for 30 minutes or longer. Can be removed from plastic bag before use.
