How are the case histories handled?

The most common practice is for each employee to fill out their case history forms individually prior to the first treatment and then the sealed histories are collected by a nominated representative.  These case histories are then collected by Shannon Owens who runs through each and makes specific notes for every treatment.  During the first massage treatment with each employee, Shannon spends 5-10 minutes discussing the case history and following up on any prudent information. From then on each treatment begins with a 3-5 minute catch up to ensure that the treatment plans are effective and all important information is up to date.

Who will be performing the Massage Treatments?

Life Natural Healing Clinic Director and Remedial Practitioner, Shannon Owens, currently assesses every case history and develops the initial massage sequences for each corporate employee.  Shannon then handles the massage treatments personally until such time as she believes that the employer and employees are comfortable with another one of Life Natural Healing Clinic’s massage therapists taking over.  At this stage Shannon monitors the treatments and the progress each employee is making.

Employees are provided with confidential performance assessment and practitioner feedback forms so that Shannon can ensure that each employee is being treated in the best way possible.  All massage practitioners at the Life Natural Healing Clinic are fully qualified with minimum Diploma in Remedial Massage and are all members of an accredited association and hold all appropriate insurances.

What do the Massage Routines Involve?

The routines release accumulated mental and physical stress and tension, producing a relaxed yet alert employee.  Massage is preventative medicine at its best; over time massage eliminates persistent pain, stress and tension, and improves focus, energy and general health and wellbeing.

What are the Different Treatment Types?

Chair Treatments

Our fully qualified massage practitioners follow a routine incorporating trigger point therapy and traditional Remedial Massage techniques.  Pressure is applied in specific areas of the torso, neck, shoulders, forearms and hands to release accumulated tension, toxins, stagnation and pain.  Practitioners will concentrate on areas of particular tension and concern for each particular employee, leaving them feeling more comfortable and with a greater capacity for productivity.

Table Treatments

Table Massages are by far the superior treatment option when appropriate time and space is available.  Our fully qualified massage practitioners use their accumulated knowledge to provide employees with a specific treatment that will encourage the greatest results.  Because each person’s needs are different, some employees will have treatments that target the back, shoulder and neck areas, others will benefit more from lower back, hip and leg treatments.  Either way with table treatments our practitioner’s will be able to assess and treat employees concerns with greater effect.  More in depth treatment plans will be developed for each client so that over the course of their sessions employees will be able to see dramatic improvements.  Employees will also be provided with simple tailored exercises that they can perform whilst still at their desk to maximize their massage benefits and consequent work quality.
